The 2nd VERTIGO Workshop will be held from Monday 7th through Thursday 10th September 2015 at the Department of Earth Sciences, Durham University, Durham, United Kingdom. Arrival shall be on Sunday September 6th (ice-breaker at 19:00). Departure on Friday 11th after breakfast to the Lake District for a 2-days field trip (return Saturday evening). Field trip is optional for Associated Partners and Guest Speakers.
The workshop will focus on experimental volcanology and petrology. The scientific programme will be complemented by complementary skills training for the Early Stage Researchers. The workshop is open to external PhD and PostDoc students, though their number will be limited. Registration is on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Participants registering for the whole week will have priority.
